"Fantastic little cafe/ restaurant. It's got a darker aesthetic to suit the restaurants theme so would be perfect if you were hungover. The food is a little slow coming out so I wouldn't recommend if you had plans booked in for the day but we didn't and the food was well worth the wait. One of the best cafe breakfasts we have had in a while. The menemen was perfectly cooked, still very soft and creamy with a very delicate flavour and we also got the full English. I especially loved the little twists like the za'atar on the avocado, the sumac on the eggs and using sujuk as the sausage component. They probably could have taken this a step further and used an authentic dip in place of the tomato relish and one of the many fantastic Mediterranean bean dishes instead of baked beans. Either way, one of the highlights was the Turkish Bread. Not like you know if from the grocery store but flatter, warm, a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I think it's house made because it tasted so fresh. Would highly recommend and next time we are up the coast we look forward to trying the restaurant menu of an evening. Wonderful spot. Oh yea, and the coffee was amazing also!"
"I went to Cafe Koka for a late breakfast on a Tuesday. The staff made me feel welcome and the food was delicious. I wish I knew what herbs they used on the mushrooms, and the dukkah on the avocado, yum! So good!"
"Had breakfast. Bacon and egg roll and koka stack breakfast. Really good. Great coffee too. Very friendly staff and great service.."
"Very nice cafe, we had the English breakfast and smashed avocado breakfast meal. Taste was amazing and meals were huge"
"What a great spot for breakkie! The wild rice bowl with falafel was delicious, and generous in serving. The falafel was fluffy, and tasted like it was homemade, and the coffee was perfect. A lot of menu items that can easily be made vegan too. Highly recommend this place!"
"Hidden gem, highly recommend Cafe Koka the owner is so lovely, it has a great ambience and decor. Food was delicious, the bacon had a yummy smoky flavour and the serving was very generous. Coffee was delicious! Had to edit to add it was actually perfect, I never finish my coffee, but wish I got a large, partner agreed and he drinks long blacks said no bitterness whatsoever, and temperature was perfect."
"We came across Cafe Koka while working for DoorDash and it’s quickly become our new go-to spot! The coffee is amazing, the bacon and egg rolls are cooked to perfection, and everything is always fresh and full of flavour. The staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming — perfect for a quick stop or a chill sit-down. You can really tell they care about quality and their customers. Highly recommend this place if you’re after great coffee, great food, and even better vibes!"
